Thank you, parents for having decided to send your children to Sathya Sai School. Your faith and confidence on our value-based education has made the school what it is today. I can assure you that you have taken the first step in the right direction towards character building of your children apart from worldly education.

Debate about the purpose of education never seems to end.  Should the education be for making a living or making a life? Is it for mere raising standard of living or standard of life by learning values such as, truth, right conduct, peace, love and non-violence. What is the end of education ? Is it just to get a certificate or to enable young children mature into responsible citizens with good character ? If you have chosen, the latter, you have then done the right thing by enrolling your children in our Sathya Sai School.

We at Sathya Sai School believe that School is a place where the consciousness is aroused, illumined and strengthened. We believe teaching children to count is good but teaching them what counts is the best.  Education will become far more effective if its purpose is to ensure that by the time the students leave school every boy and girl should know how much they do not know and be imbued with a lifelong desire to imbibe the good that they ought to know.

The development of our students encompasses their intellectual, physical, mental, emotional and social health. We work with students to build 3 D’s of life – Duty, Discipline and Devotion, along with their knowledge, skills and confidence so that they feel safe, connected and engaged in their learning. We have created school environment like a small, intimately connected educational community centered around the cultivation of virtues of life. We worked on this for several years, we established the school and we are happy that we got your faith and confidence in us and in our school. While we have done our best to build a school that works towards a meaningful mission and vision, our focus has always been on the transformation of hearts and minds of our dear students.

Children spend two thirds of their time at home; hence the duty of the parents is to nurture the values that are taught in the school, by being exemplars to the children at home. We continue to seek greater co-operation and involvement of parents and teachers for building students’ character.
